Stage 5 – Tour de France completed

Today we continued this epic journey south from the Grand Depart in Brussels towards the Pyrenees.
This challenging 175km ride took us over four categorised climbs and through many German influenced villages, amazingly vibrant corn fields and picture perfect vineyards that covered fields and hillsides as far as the eye could see.
The climbs were approx 6km long with gradients approx 6% and sections at 12%, the perfect warm up for tomorrow’s big day in the mountains.
Tomorrow is a big day that will see us ride 160k with more than 4,000 meters of climbing.
So far my legs are feeling super strong…. just need to keep building.
